Country/Southern Rock performer Prentis Goodwin at "Bruce Rossmeyer's Southern Thunder Harley-Davidson"
While relaxing under a group of weeping willow trees during a photo shoot for the September issue of "Thunder Roads" Magazine. Prentis Goodwin talks about his career with music and love for motorcycles.
Prentis and long time friend and business partner Tom Hood recently crafted a new song dealing with the fun and excitement of riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle. The song "Keepin' the Rubber Side Down" originated from a saying heard over the years in biker circles that means "be safe". Temphis Cown Music encourages all fans and bikers to buy a copy of this song. Listen to it here.

This era of Johnny PayCheck's musical career is considered his best
by many of his peers.
The story of Prentis Goodwin would make a great movie. Prentis was
born in Memphis, TN, and grew up in Mississippi. He learned to play
on a used guitar his father bought for twelve dollars. The Goodwin
Family lived in an old home that was cold in the winter and hot in
the summer. The sounds of music came from within the four walls of
Prentis Goodwin's bedroom night and day, year round. The other
kids laughed at Prentis while he was learning to play one note at
a time. Soon the laughing stopped and the music began.

Crown Music gets song placement in new movie.
